If you want to reduce a little bit of the stress and expense of your wedding, and trust me you do; call in some favors. You know that friend of yours that’s artsy and crafty and stuff? Let me just put the word out there so that we can get it over with… Cancer. There now we said it. I have lost friends and loved ones to this indiscriminate, unbiased and insensitive disease. I have not known any one personally whose lover or wife left them because they had cancer. This is not to say that it doesn’t happen however.

I can’t imagine anything much more callous than someone leaving a loved one in the face of such a devastating consequence.
